Welcome to my Website!
Amy Eaton is the owner of Atlantic Massage of the Outer Banks and is a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist (LMBT) in the state of North Carolina (License #14055). Amy specializes in multiple massage modalities (swedish, sports, deep tissue) and is also trained in Shiatsu, Thai Massage, Touch for Health Kinesiology, Myofascial Release, Ortho-Bionomy, and Cranio-Sacral therapies. Additionally, Amy is a Certified Yoga Teacher (CYT-200) and offers personal, or small group, private lessons in yoga (on the beautiful Outer Banks beaches, or other location of choice). Amy also offers other spa service add-ons such as facials and foot soaks/scrubs, as well as personal fitness coaching. Her massage studio is located in Kitty Hawk, but most of her services are also available at your Outer Banks home, office, or vacation location as well (rates may vary). Amy’s clients ages range from 14-88 years old, with a wide range of backgrounds and needs (professional athletes, military members/families, veterans, moms/dads/grandparents, weekend warriors, clients with chronic conditions and other special needs, etc.).
Amy is a native of upstate New York but has called the Outer Banks home since 2007 with her two young sons and their family dog. She has been a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist in the state of North Carolina since 2014. However, Amy has been studying and working in health and wellness for nearly 30 years with multiple degrees, certifications, and varied experience, along with being a competitive athlete most of her life. She has uniquely integrated her varied background/education/experiences into comprehensive bodywork services, often blending a therapeutic mix of personal fitness training together with yoga and massage therapies. Amy has a private fitness area within her massage studio that is very conducive to individual personal training, especially for those new to just starting a fitness routine. This setting and her approach to fitness coaching could be considered the alternative to fitness bootcamps/cross fit/corporate gym settings.
Additionally, Amy offers essential oils as part of her growing service line with Atlantic Massage, and she is currently enrolled in a level 1 aromatherapy certification course. Since becoming a licensed massage therapist several years ago, Amy has used many essential oils herself and with her clients, but it wasn’t until trying doTERRA products that she knew their essential oils were of the highest quality and would be the best for her clients AND her family. Though not required, she is pursuing a certification in aromatherapy to further advance her knowledge to ensure she is best able to guide others on the efficacy and safety of essential oil use, and best recommend which oils are most suited for them. www.my.doterra.com/atlanticmassage
Amy is also a strong supporter of various veterans programs (Mission 22, We Defy Foundation, veterans writing project, collecting & delivering clothing/supplies for homeless vets, etc.). As a military member herself in the Air Force Reserve, busy mother, and athlete, Amy has personally found much balance through regular bodywork, yoga therapy, and essential oil use herself, and it is her intention to help others find balance in their lives through such services she offers with the goal to optimize their overall health and well-being.
Thanks for visiting, and have a great day!
